I have been needing to work on a “FIT” detox for quite some time, & I thought that June would be the perfect time to do it. I wasn’t sure how it would go, but it turns out that I am taking a proper break in a way that I would have never expected. The term/phrase “FIT” refers to 3 applications that have taken a large amount of my life realizing that in the thick of it, these applications are programs that I need to just slide away from the table in regards to using. Those 3 programs are Facebook, Instagram, & TikTok. The harsh truth is that whenever I’m on the 3 of these apps, I get into this space that I’m not a big fan of, which is me just being overconsumed by everything but the main things that I need to take care of. I have been very neglectful of my business, & I am starting to see the disadvantages of being distant from my creative space involving my web design business.

At first, it didn’t seem like a big deal, but as of late, I’ve started to notice that when I am not creating, I’m catching the aftermath of not truly tapping into my true creative self. There’s an ample amount of creativity that I’m capable of accomplishing, but I haven’t been putting the right time and energy into it. As I’ve been saying time and time again…accountability 2025. I have to just lean in and take care of myself. I honestly believe that this time off those 3 applications will also help me in improving my “fit” and starting to become some sort of fit again. I got on a scale today & mentally broke down based on me feeling like I’m not accomplishing what I’m truly capable of.

I no longer need another template. I need to take time and use the tools & resources I have. Between Things 3, a digital productivity planner that I have grown to love, I just about have everything I need. I think that sometimes we’re trying to do more than we think is necessary. I have a bunch of templates, & none of them are being used, & I don’t like that. I think when it comes down to the thick of it, I know my maximum potential in what I’m capable of accomplishing my betterment.

There was a book that I purchased called “How to Break up with your phone”, & I really feel like this is the starting point I need to get my life in the right direction. I hope everyone enjoys their week & really gets into working on becoming their bes self. Until next time, BT signing out.
